Engine condition: Forever young
At Porsche Classic, we don’t
do things by half, unless it’s for
demonstration purposes only
(see photo above). The exhibit,
a two-litre carburator engine
from the 911 T with a power
output of 110 bhp (1965 to
1969), has been half-restored.
The work of experts. Even when
it comes to the engine, owners
of classic Porsche cars benefit
from the know-how and expertise
of the Classic department.
The Customer Centre sells a
selection of fully reconditioned
engines, and in a few exceptional
cases, it even still stocks new
original engines. The Customer
Centre also uses all techniques
and equipment to guarantee an
engine construction that is true
to the original. These include
measuring equipment, engine
test stands or special machines
for cylinder head machining. The
Porsche service includes free
condition reports and quotations
following disassembly, while a
restored engine comes with a
one-year warranty. The engine
thus remains “forever young” – a
condition which customers value
most on their Porsche cars.

Customer Centre database con-

ing to Technical Documentation.
